Who we are

The company was formed in the sixties, on a pioneer
intuition of Guido Cristofolini who understood and
developed the potential of porphyry.

Growing over the years, his company consolidated
its activity, acquiring one of the largest deposits of
this type of stone and developing partnerships with
other important enterprises.

In the year 2000, after changing the company name
to Unionporfidi Ltd, the Horus brand-name was
launched on the market, the result of a policy founded
as ever on the functional and aesthetic qualities
of the quarried product.
